”Nice Facility. Great, helpful staff. Surprised by the Villa Lodge rooms. Very spacious for 5 adults and a toddler. Enjoyed the rural setting. Wildlife in the area. Disappointed by the 'green' lake so no peddle boats or fishing. But that's Mother Nature! :( Many activities to take part in throughout the day and evenings.”

Very nice place... we laughed because there was a bowl of water left on the table...not really sure why and didn't warrent saying anything to owner (entertaining memory for sure.) We'd definitely stay again and would recommend to anyone. ”

”The home was extremely clean and spacious! I’m picky when it comes to cleanliness and everywhere in this rental was completely clean. The bathrooms are newly remodeled and are beautiful. The pictures don’t show how large all the rooms in the home actually are. We cooked dinner and the home had all of the things we might need. Starved Rock State Park is only a few minutes drive away. The weekend bands playing were fun along with the cornhole and miniature golf that was only a short walk away. I...

We had no troubles finding the place, getting in, or with anything in the house. We would definitely stay here again and so should you!”

”Easy check in at this unique 1950s prefab bungalow. Enjoyed learning about history of this home from the book, pictures and other documents about Lustron on site. Plenty of nostalgia with all the modern comforts. Very clean and well stocked home. This was our first visit and will definitely come back.”
