”We had a wonderful stay at the little cabin in Caldwell. We booked at the last minute while we were in town for a family funeral, and it was such a convenient place for us and our two dogs—especially with hotel prices up because of the game in Bryan–College Station. The cabin was comfortable and very accommodating for our dogs. We were a little unsure at first about privacy because the cabin is close to the owners’ home, but there was no issue at all. They respected our space, and we felt...

”We stayed here for a baseball tournament at Diamond Oaks Ranch as there were no vacancy at the ranch. It was about 15 minutes away, which wasn’t bad. We had a minor miscommunication for our reservation due to Vrbo not notifying the host, but when I reached out, the host was immediately responsive and resolved the situation. It’s just minutes away from Round Top, so after our games, we went to town and enjoyed a great evening at Round Top Brewery and Kitchen. It was dark by the time we made it to...

”Fridge didn't cool, had to throw food away this morning. Ceiling fan and light would not turn off. Had to sleep with light on all night. Didn't notice until we were ready for bed at midnight. Not much sleep. Musty odor never went away. No coffee creamer. Bed's mediocre. Front door key was of no use because door knob didn't catch. We had to use the padlock every time we left and it was very hard to open.”
