”This was a great cozy home with 3 equally sized rooms and a full bathroom. It's tucked up a dirt/gravel road and while I got up okay in my Nissan Sentra, I'd recommend a truck or something with decent ground clearance, especially if your staying during the rainy season. I was surprised to be immersed into wildlife! I was fortunate to enjoy a sea of fireflies, morning bunnies, and a family of deer at dusk. The host was friendly and communicative. I enjoyed my stay at this sweet home.”

”Another perfect stay in Melody's loft ! We highly recommend anyone stay here when in the Harlan area. It is quiet, absolutely spotless,with possibly the most comfortable bed we have ever slept on. Very close to restaurants and stores yet with that wonderful quiet country feel with a few deer running around. Thoughtfully stocked with bathroom items in case you forget something and some snacks and coffee and tea. Thanks again for a great weekend!!”
