”We've been visiting Cedar Key once a year for 20 years now and I feel like we've stayed in half the houses on the island and most of the condos. But this little house is a favorite: comfortable, cute and quirky. It has that beautiful old-Florida look and feel, which we really appreciate, but enough modernization to still be comfortable for our family. ”This was a great stay in such a historic hotel. The property definitely shows its age, but everything is clean. The accommodations are comfortable. Unfortunately, the area was hit by hurricane Helene but is slowly coming back so the dining and shopping options at this time are limited, but what is there is wonderful and the people are so friendly. We had a great stay, a relaxing and enjoyable weekend.”

”this is a very charming “old Florida” hotel that is 160 years old. It has withstood many hurricanes and weather issues over the years but remains a “grand old lady” in the heart of Cedar Key. The restaurant offers excellent dining choices for dinner only. I will definitely be staying there again in the future.”
