”The property was not that difficult to find, although it is off a rather bumpy dirt road. But there's a gate to the property, and you really do feel like you're in your own private oasis. But this little house is a favorite: comfortable, cute and quirky. Unfortunately, the area was hit by hurricane Helene but is slowly coming back so the dining and shopping options at this time are limited, but what is there is wonderful and the people are so friendly. ”this is a very charming “old Florida” hotel that is 160 years old. It has withstood many hurricanes and weather issues over the years but remains a “grand old lady” in the heart of Cedar Key. The restaurant offers excellent dining choices for dinner only. I will definitely be staying there again in the future.”
