”Absolutely wonderful time. My kids loved the kayaks and canoe (extra life jackets) The kitchen and living space were great, master bedroom view was just beautiful. Dog friendly! We would love to return.LOTS of stairs down to the lake, but the ropes really help!Communication with host was GREAT!My only suggestion would be a written sheet in house for checkout instructions and wifi access! (I forgot to screenshot all instructions before arrival and had to leave and find cell service at local...

”Traveled with our family of four for a long weekend. We loved the peaceful setting and spent our nights around the firepit eating s'mores! Our days featured short trips to Andrews for a railbike tour and a stop at Nantahala Outdoor Center. Communication was great, and the owners were very attentive. We highly recommend!”

”One minor issue in the kitchen that was resolved completely to our satisfaction. VERY comfortable house in a VERY quiet,beautiful location amongst the trees.GOOD ground clearance recommended for navigating the uneven and steep gravel driveway (we have a Subaru,no problem.....but a Ford Fusion,for example, would drag bottom). Wish we could've stayed longer!”

Some places use branches as stair rails, this place uses them as well as Full Trees.Family from out of town all stayed here together for my daughter's wedding and they all agreed they wished they had had more time to enjoy being at the house.Beds in these rentals are often not the best but these were adequate with only two of the rooms mentioning anything negative regarding comfort to me after the stay.
