”Absolutely charming and very well equipped small home. A lot of small amenities to make it welcoming. Didn't realize it had steps, that was our fault for not checking. We found the registration process to be confusing trying to do it through Expedia as it was a vbro. The owner went out of her way to be helpful.”

”We had a lot of communication with the host before and after arrival.
The Haus was lovely, quaint and just what we needed to get away from the usual chain hotels.
The Haus was clean and very comfortable and had a good range of amenities.
The view at sunset was great and we enjoyed sitting on the veranda.
We did not use the kitchen facilities, although they appeared more the adequate.
All in all this is a lovely hideaway and well worth a visit if you are driving the Blue Ridge Parkway.”

”This cabin is in a perfect location, with stunning a long views and an outdoor hot tub. The pros include wide open floor plan, great shower, plenty of linens and easy to use entertainment. The cons are the whole place feels a little bit shabby, with all the woodwork caulked but not finished, lots of stinkbugs inside, and poorly equipped, mis-matched kitchen gear. Foot plate on the stove had fallen off. There was firewood for the fire but no working lighter. Just little stuff. I would...

”I have rented many places and I’m ranking this as one of the best rentals I have ever rented.1. Communication: Ben was extremely responsive and friendly.2. Location: The town of Old Fort has gone through a lot in the past few years, but that has not diminished its charm and resilience. The house sits on a beautiful creek and has a great view of the sunrise which we enjoyed from the screened in porch. The house is walking distance from downtown. The downtown has several breweries with great...

”I absolutely loved this place! I enjoyed the fire pit while sipping on a glass of vino with my little pup under the stars. The place was quiet amd I even had a few deer that came to visit. Location was excellent to downtown Marion. I loved the record collection she has too! That probably was my favorite! The place was perfect for what I needed. U came to experience the Bigfoot Festival for the first time and didn't want to stay too far away do this place was great. Went to Lake James amd had...

”A cozy cabin in a beautiful area. It was clean, comfortable, and suited our family well. I was glad to be able to use the kitchen that was nicely stocked with the basics, including stainless steel pots and utensils (we try to avoid plastic and Teflon), so that was a pleasant surprise! The kids enjoyed the adjacent campground's arcade room (about a five minute drive or 20 minute walk) from the cabin. Overall, a pleasant stay!”

”The only downside is the LP gas chargrill needs it's inside parts replaced or entire grill replacement. If your not into grilling then it's a mute point. Great place to enjoy the mountains of NC. Very nice accomodations, all you need to bring is your toothbrush. Super nice being beside the creek and very accessable to the trails of Old Fort.”
