I liked the personal little touch of a white board greeting us as we came into the cottage. The farm fresh eggs they left for us was a big hit and the refreshments of bubbler drinks and Arnold Palmer tea. ”

”Absolutely beautiful and very relaxing atmosphere. So many little details were thought out and it shows. We loved being able to borrow bikes and ride the trail right into town.”

”My husband and I came here with our two boys (5 and 2) and had a blast. The beach entry is shallow and great for littles. We rented a pontoon to explore gull lake and the kids loved the Lilly pad that was provided with the rental. House was clean and roomy. Had a great stay!”

”We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at The Hill House. The property was in a great location for relaxation, the communication with the owner was incredible. Truly one of the better VRBO experiences I have had. We would absolutely stay again!”

”The property was great. They had a great selection of watercraft available for everyone to use. The lake was not very deep so the younger kids could use the lake. We spent a lot of time on the patio eating, talking, and late at night around the fire pit. The yard was spacious so the boys could throw the football around. The house was great, especially the master suite. We had a group of 12 and it would be hard to fit more. The kitchen was well stocked with plates, serving dishes, and silverware....

”The property was a perfect fit for our small family! The weather was sub par for our stay but the porch made it easy to enjoy the cabin during the storms. Lots of games to play and space to spread out. The fishing (the main reason for our visit) was great, whether off the dock or out on the boat exploring the lake. The neighborhood is peaceful and the property is spacious. I highly recommend renting this cabin for your family and/or friends! We will definitely be back! ”

”Property was perfect for our group. 5 minutes from raceway. Close to all town stores. Beds where comfy. Kitchen had everything you need to make meals. No wifi for your phones. But tv was connected to it, which helped on those rainy days. Overall, I would stay here again.”

”We had some family things in Brainerd and I wanted a quiet place to unwind at night. Ben’s place near Long Lake was just the spot! I’ve stayed at a lot of vacation homes, the bed was honestly the 2nd best of all time! The cabin has all the amenities and more you could want to use for a week away. The in-floor heat is especially nice for an early morning coffee. Ben was Very Responsive and quick to anything that came up, including notification to me that the internet was down and he had someone...

Plenty of space for our group and the property is set up well. Loved the blackstone and grill on the deck to make cooking a breeze. I would highly recommend!”
