”If you are going to Sossusvlei/Dead Vlei, this is the perfect location to stay. It's 5km from the gate and worth the price. It's self-catering, but there is a lodge a few km down the road that offers dinner and breakfast. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was clean and spacious.”

”had a lovely stay at Desert Camp. Everything was super clean. The rooms are very spacious with a wonderful bathroom. The outside kitchen is fabulous with an incredible view of the mountains. They offer, at no cost, a box of kitchen utensils that has everything you would ever want (including a cast iron pan!)”

Keine Klima- daher im.Winter Navjts recht kühl - ein kleiner Elektrolüfter reicht notdürftig um es wärmer zu bekommen. Komplette Küche mit Toaster und Mikro - großer Kühlschrank umd Herd mit Backofen. Türen nach draußen sehr zugig und nicht dicht. ”

Staff was fantastic and so helpful is booking activities for us as well giving recommendations. The soundproofing in the rooms is not good, we could hear other guest etc. besides that, it was a great stay. ”

”We have stayed at several Gondwana properties and found this to be the best so far. The location is beautiful with a lot space, out chalet was amazing (all recently renovated, along with the main building). The staff were very helpful and made extra effort to accommodate us. If you have the time, do a morning or evening boat ride to explore the river and see the banks of the national park on the other side.”
