”This little cabin was just right for the two of us. We were traveling during the day and staying at the cabin at night. The sunsets were beautiful. The cabin was clean and the bed was comfortable. It was very quiet at night. The host was very accommodating and responsive to texts. We had a good experience at the Sugar Shack. ”

”Easy overnight and the dogs LOVED the big backyard. Great communication from the host. We were a little dubious driving through a warehouse district until we pulled up to the house and it was perfect. Adorable house, big ol’ yard, and delicious tacos 2 minutes away from Lalo’s Taqueria. Would happily stay again if we ever drive through Joplin. Thank you for providing an easy clean place to stay with the dogs. ”

We knew we would need a large house as our group consisted of 15 adults and this house was more than perfect. We did have a couple of small issues and the property manager was right on top of getting them fixed. I would not hesitate to stay here again. ”

”We chose this location because of the view of the lake, privacy, lake access for fishing and dog friendly. Unfortunately for us they were having a dock built during our stay which limited our privacy and ability to fish. The dock got finished so that won’t be an issue going forward, just bad timing. The owners are very nice! Appreciated the attention to detail like having multiple types of chargers available on the nightstand, extra hair ties in the bathroom, dog bowls and tray for our pup :)...
