”Place was perfect… very nice inside, two sets of bunk beds in one BR, which our kids enjoyed. Small pool in nice backyard, which our kids used several times. ”We are a family of 5 ranging in ages 14 to 49. We absolutely loved our stay here. The cabin is well off the highway with ample privacy. The creek is a little tricky to get down to so an older person with mobility issues would find this difficult. The creek was up on our first day but was still accessible and we were able to put chairs in and sit. ”Our family of 9 enjoyed this house. There was plenty of room and was stocked with everything we needed. When booking, our main priorities were having the pool and dock access. We enjoyed both! We were able to kayak and fish right there from the dock. We launched our boat at the nearby marina and tied off by the house. This made it convenient when we wanted to take a boat ride or go fishing in the river. The neighborhood was very quiet. ”

”Great scenic location on Lake Pontchartrain, Slidell was a pleasant surprise to us out of towners, would have considered spending more time in town of we didn’t have such a packed weekend. Not too bad of a drive into New Orleans, but if using ride/share car service just know to look ahead at pricing and budget accordingly.Very spacious, great kitchen amenities and a nice pool.
