”We LOVED our stay at this cabin! The host Debbie was easy to communicate with, flexible, and provided tons of thoughtful recommendations for things to do nearby! The cabin and the surrounding property was beautiful and so fun to explore! The cabin was clean and very comfortable. There's plenty of firewood and all the essential kitchen appliances/cookware. We will definitely be back to this beautiful, historic property! ”

”This property was absolutely beautiful. The homes open concept with cathedral ceilings are gorgeous. The lake view from the bedroom upstairs is so relaxing. More than i imagined. We will definitely be back to enjoy this property and all the lake has to offer. The hosts are amazing as well.”

”Stayed here unplanned after our car needed to go in unexpectedly and absolutely loved it! Adorable set up. The owner was incredibly nice, even helped us pick our car when it was ready. Staying with all the animals was so much fun. Hiking bald mountain was so cool, we got to ID some new lichen and mushrooms. P.S. the eggs are delicious and I think their horse just had a foal right before we left!?”

”Very spacious, clean, and comfortable two-story suite in the downtown area. We loved staying there and highly recommend it. That said, there were some easily addressed deficiencies in the access process. We were given a name for our suite and an access code that we were told would work for entry to the house AND the suite. The code worked for the building but not the suite. Also, none of the suites are marked with names; they’re all numbered.”

”Upon arrival we were met with the beautiful view and upon entering the cottage, amazed with the decor and atmosphere. Family and I had such a great time with the water front access of the pond. ”This is a charming, rustic property in a lovely setting and extremely quiet and peaceful! Our host Carol is wonderful, very thoughtful and helpful a truly lovely person! She shares great recommendations for hiking, fun places to get almost any kind of food you may be craving. This is not a fancy cottage, it's absolutely perfect for relaxing and is a perfect location for hiking and exploring. The stairs are very steep and the old fashioned claw foot tub with shower needs to be navigated...

”Great property! Close to Bar Harbor and Acadia. Suggest Whale Watching Tour and sunrise at Cadillac Mountain. We also kayaked on the river right behind the house. Lots today in the area.
