”Location was convient as the side by side trail passes in front of the rental,Perfect area also if you just wanted to go canoeing, relaxing in front of the outdoor fire pit.The cottage was modern and beautiful.The downside , not kid friendly .For a weekend or week getaway, it’s perfect for a group of adults, I would give it a 10/10”

We had three generations of family (20s, 50s and 80s) and all had a great time.The chalet has everything you need, including space for everyone and a very usable kitchen and food preparation area. The night sky was beautiful. We look forward to returning to enjoy the fall colours.Great time and I highly recommend it!”

”GREAT STAY. Dan and Lisa thought of everything. Stayed for a week during a heat wave at end of June. Cottage stayed nice and cool, river was very refreshing. Family room and bedroom downstairs perfect for teens to have their own space. Highly recommended.”

”We had a really great stay at this property. Beds were comfy, lots of different seating areas outside, and the beach / shallow water was perfect for kids. We loved using the kayaks. The host was very quick to respond to any questions. A little construction noise that he warned us about but it didn’t bother us at all. The privacy of the property made it extremely quiet otherwise. ”This suite was very clean and roomy in a nice, quiet neighbourhood. Phyllis was flexible with check in and made the check in/out process incredibly easy. There is a full kitchen that is well-stocked with dishes and extra appliances. It has a beautiful backyard and patio backing on to green space. The owners live in the house, but the entrance to the suite is completely private. We heard minimal noise a couple times from them upstairs during our stay. ”

”Came with a few friends and my dog. We had a great stay! It was exactly what we were looking for - something remote and rustic. Still had everything we needed - working wifi, an (outdoor) shower with warm water, a clean outhouse, a lovely dock on the water, plenty of firewood, and close enough to town. The views are amazing. Laurie and Kevin were super helpful and communicative.”

Also, one of the few places that was spacious for a wheel chair/disabled folks. This is key, as there aren’t much places that cater for this. ”We had a flood in our BNB which we booked back in February. Thankfully this cottage was available to cover part of our stay. The kids enjoyed the location and we were so grateful for enough beds for everyone to stretch out at night (myself with 3 kids, one being a teenager)!
