”The location is on the beach. There is not much that is within walking distance for restaurants and shops. It is a short drive to the downtown and to Qualicum Beach and to the market in Coombs. The resort is new so it is clean. The gym doesn’t open until 7:00. Coffee was sometimes ready at 6:00 but it depends on the staff. The washer an dryer in our suite was very convenient. It’s good for families with kids. ”

”Host was very accommodating ng and welcoming. Beautiful vaulted ceiling great for filling and listening to music and eating on the patio. Good for families and children and easy walking distance to beach.Hosted a dog one day and he had lots of room to play fetch outside and walk on a leash on Rathtrevor trails. mini golf and ice cream went to the beach twice a day high tide and lowIt was a great place for walkability. ”

”It was our second time staying here. It's a wonderful, peaceful setting with a beautiful trail system literally next door. Loved sitting out on the porch listening to the crickets while the dog enjoyed the fully fenced yard. Wonderful kitchen with all the tools and appliances you could ask for. If we visit Vancouver Island again, this is where we'll stay. ”

”We had such a lovely stay here. It was very tranquil peaceful and the hosts were just spectacular. All the little details that these guys add make such a big difference and let me tell you that breakfast that they make, is absolutely delicious. We took our infant, who is only nine months old and our puppy, and they made a little puppy plate and a little plate for our boy. We had such a lovely day and created some fantastic memories and hope to be back. We cannot thank these hosts enough. ”

”We had a wonderful girls trip at the Slow Go. It was a little tricky to find, as the entrance isn’t immediately visible especially in the dark but once we got familiar with the surroundings it was no problem! The property was lovely, great fire pit, well-stocked and comfy cabin. Being close to the highway meant it got a bit noisy at times but not bad at all. The host was wonderful to communicate with when we had to troubleshoot a situation with the lock and fixed it right away. Would recommend...
