”We had such a good time. From the moment we walked in the door it literally felt like home. The house was so clean, the entry and check out instructions were easy to follow, the pool was my kids favorite part, well that and the fire pit. The host was there for all questions during our stay, and even directly messaged us after our stay to make sure we had no issues. They even went the extra bit to make sure to have a list of things to do and see around us. We will definitely be booking again...

”We stayed for 7 days. Pretty nice place but we are older and both have some challenges with walking, so the hill leading to the back of the house was a challenge and the one down to boat dock was even more of if a challenge.We rented pontoon which was nice to take out on lake. This would be a nice place to bring your kids and grandchildren. It was nice to have the option to grill so we didn’t have to eat out all the time. There was plenty of bath towels and washcloths but only 2 hand towels and...

”It's a beautiful cabin and the owners are very responsive and helpful! My only complaint has nothing to do with the property or owners, but the noise from the park (which is across the road...awesome if you have kids in tow!) in the late evening/early night is a little irritating (not kids playing but people meeting up with systems thumping and revving engines), but it tapered off by 10-11PM. So if you are an early bird like me I recommend bringing a sound machine, fan, or ear plugs! Other than...

”The apartment was so nice and clean. This was our second time to stay here. The are is quiet. No complaints. Host friendly and helpful. We came up to visit a Grandchild and will stay here again. ”Great stay for the guys golfing getaway weekend. Everyone loved the beds, for a bunch of old guys that says a lot. We blew off our Saturday afternoon plans to setup the poker game on the back deck. Even with us celebrating big pots we paused the game to watch the deer walk along the lakes edge numerous times. Will stay again. ”

”This property could not have been any better for our family. We celebrated our dad’s 85th birthday here and we hosted his family for a lovely bbq. We were able to bring our 17 year old standard poodle which made this trip possible. The kitchen was perfect. So many helpful amenities. The house is huge…bedrooms were great, bathrooms wonderful. The deck was amazing… so many thoughtful touches throughout the home to make us feel “at home”. I could go on and on! The hosts were always responsive...

”My sister and I traveled from both Northern and Central Illinois to the Doniphan area to scatter our parents ashes and the current river as they had requested. My dad’s family were all from Doniphan. We absolutely loved this Verbo. The one thing I would say is if you’re looking for somewhere where you’re on the water be in mind that while the site overlooks the water you can’t really just get in the water and swim. It says it has a boat dock, but that would not accommodate launching about....

”The property was as advertised. Everything was clean and in a peaceful location. We were a bit surprised at the size of the "lake" as it ended up being more of a pond. We did take the kayaks out but the water is pretty nasty and not ideal for swimming or fishing. That was all fine though because thr purpose of our trip was to float the Spring River. Overall a great stay and i would return.”
