”My two young sons and I had a very nice visit to The Boathouse. The lake is well used but not busy and the water is calm. We spent our time on the kayaks, fishing from the dock, and on land with a fire to warm up the cool summer evenings. The Boathouse is well-kept, comfortable, and charming and the hosts are delightful and generous. The drive into the twin cities is very easy. I would definitely recommend. ”

”The property was beautiful inside and out. Lots of spaces for gathering. Made good use of the kayaks and paddle boards. The lake is so calm and serene. The kitchen works well for a crowd, but could be better stocked and organized. Our family had the best time and would definitely go back!”

”Wonderful stay! Host was VERY communicative and attentive! The home was very clean and nice, and stocked very well for visitors! There was plenty of space and activities for our family/friend group of 11 and 2 dogs! The only thing we think could improve would be a coat of paint, and fixing the fence gaps, considering it was a pet friendly option. Overall better than expected and perfect for what we needed! Highly suggest! ”

”Do not recommend if you are staying multiple days. We did not get the room we reserved because they gave it to someone else. We were only given 3 towels for 4 people for 4 days. When we asked for more towels they gave us 2 more and that is all we could get, then went and complained they said we could only get more towels if we brought them down all the dirty towels. Once i did this. We again only got 2 more towels again for 4 people. Could not get anyone to clean the roomWould not even give us...
