”Nicely kept and great pastoral location. Would recommend adding a few more kitchen supplies to make cooking a little easier. Really did not enjoy a corner camera and alarm at parking area that would go off everytime you walked by. I've never experienced that at a short term rental. Overall pretty good stay though”

”This place is a great get away in the mountains. Definitely has everything you need for a break from life. A bit scary to get to the place through the mountain roads but if thats not a problem for you then I would recommend this place anytime.
The lack of wifi and signal is nice to make you stop and enjoy whats around you. Feels like camping to get people to just enjoy the outdoors or whatever entertainment you bring with you.
The place was nice and clean and full of everything you need for...

”For our first visit to the Natural Bridge State Park area, we chose to stay at a Vrbo property nearby in the Lexington , VA area. The Rustic Bayberry property nailed it on every category. We had great communications from the property owner & truly enjoyed our time there. Due to 100 feel like temps on the July 4th weekend, we found ourselves at the property most afternoons relaxing as the property’s cooling system was a welcomed item during the heat. Thanks to the Meads for a fabulous...

”We had a lovely stay and enjoyed the cottage! Heather responded quickly to messages. I do feel like there could be some areas of improvement with cleaning as all the picture ledges, lamp shades and some of the walls have layers of dust and I’m not sure if the place was swept or vacuumed before we came. I understand it’s in the middle of the woods but the amount of living and dead stink bugs was astonishing!! Not sure if pest control could help that out since one fell on me on the couch oh and...

”The place is a dump and questionable people staying there possibly on drugs. My husband woke the next morning to a flat tire that had a obvious puncture room in the sidewall no security cameras on premises lost a day of work and had to buy a tire and was not offered a refund.”

”What an amazing house! Recently remodeled! Perfect for a large family or group - the rooms and bathrooms are massive. Kitchen is fully stocked if you want to cook. The A/C was outstanding! Occasional road noise from out front but it was infrequent and not a real issue. Perfect location for W&L and VMI parents. Highly recommend this property!”

”We enjoyed our stay. Not much could beat the view.!!The highway was a little noisier than expected so if you’re a light sleeper it may not be for you. I used the sound machine and it worked out well for me. We saw 3 beautiful deer in the yard coming back one night. There was a couple things we had to contact the host about, but he was helpful in helping us resolve the issue. it wasn’t anything major.”

”My husband, our fur babies, and I had a fantastic getaway! Everything was exactly as pictured and the property was super clean (something I'm very picky about!) We especially loved all the thoughtful details, like the heated bathroom floor, towel rack, flashlight, towels for hot tub, separate towel for drying off pet paws, snacks, etc. Everything was beautifully decorated and felt so cozy. We definitely relaxed and recharged! The property is gorgeous.Pamela was incredibly responsive. Our pups...
