”This was an awesome place to stay close to Fredericksburg. We did not notice any of the issues outlined in previous reviews. Beds were comfortable, house was very clean, and we enjoyed our stay here quite a bit. Communication with the host was hassle free and the check in process was easy. We would absolutely stay here again if we were in the area. ”

”Very nice clean property in the basement of a beautiful home in the woods. Was very comfortable. Plenty of space for all of us. Private entrance was nice. Small kitchen area was perfect for what we needed. Owner was very quick to respond to any questions or concerns we had. Was close enough to anything we wanted to see or do. ”We loved our stay and plan on returning in the future for a longer stay so we can experience more. It was about the same cost as a hotel stay, but with more of a home feel and a lot more room. I also enjoyed the view of the lake from our front porch. If I could suggeat one little change, maybe open the gym a little earlier than 9am, but that's all.”

”This is a lovely property right on the water. It’s quiet and peaceful with a wonderful pool and outdoor space. The local water fowl were fun to watch especially the swans and geese. They arrived every morning and left in the evening. The house has everything you need for an easy vacation. We didn’t find one thing wrong!”

”The host was extremely gracious and made my mom dinner while we were out of town in New York for a couple of days during our stay. I had made other arrangements for her while we were away since my mom does not drive but the host went above and beyond. The walking trails around the property were wonderful, we walked 3 miles pretty much every morning that we were there around the wooded trails. We enjoyed sitting on the back patio with the view of the pond behind the house.”
