”Amazing what you can fit into a small space! Microwave and toaster are good for basic self catering, though we were glad that we had brought containers to cook in and our normal camping plates and cutlery. Location is very good, quiet and private, but with plenty to explore in the nearby area.”

”We have just returned from an absolutely fabulous stay at Harkstead Hall. The house is beautiful. Spacious and has absolutely everything you need for a fun stay with friends. I went prepared with all the usual kitchen essentials but found that it was not needed. Dishwasher tablets, coffee filters, it was all there. ”We really enjoyed our stay at Rubblestone Cottage. The cottage was warm and comfortable, with everything we needed. A cosy living room with a window that looks over the meadow, which allows you to watch the visiting wildlife. Main bedroom was very spacious and the bed was comfortable. The kitchen had everything we needed to prepare food and the owner provides a great list of pubs, restaurants and takeaways. It is beautifully appointed and even has a washing machine/dryer. Christina was very helpful and quick to come and help when we asked about the heating for example.
