”The cabin is very convenient to Palo Duro Canyon State Park. It is charming exactly as pictured and very comfortable. The host provided fresh eggs and breakfast fixings. We really enjoyed the porch swing on screened porch watching the goats and horses after hiking in the Canyon. We would definitely recommend this property for a trip to Palo Duro Canyon or just a West Texas experience!”

”Our stay at the Dove’s Rest Fortress was like a dream! This place was beyond stunning! The pictures really can’t capture how beautiful the view really is. The views from the back patio are just breathtaking! The home is spacious and comfortable. Well stocked kitchen and lots of towels and blankets and toilet paper. Jeff is a super host! Very responsive and kind. He even had a bottle of champagne, and two keep-sake Dove Rest glasses waiting for us for a special occasion. John and Bambi ”

”This was a last minute booking for us and exactly what we wanted. We loved the view! It was amazing looking over Sunday Canyon. Just outside the Palo Duro State Park gate. A short drive to Canyon and Amarillo. The house is vintage as stated. It has a lot of antiques throughout. The artwork by Carl J Smith is phenomenal. I had to run to Google to look him up. We experienced high winds, rain, fog, sunshine-and loved every minute of it from the front deck looking over the canyon or to keep warm...
