”This was my second stay at this location. It is just steps from the covered shopping areas and Nishiki Market. The hotel itself is very quiet and serene and boasts an interior courtyard with a tree growing in a shallow pool. Coffee and sake are complimentary in the lobby and the rooms feature traditional style furnishings, including a Hiba wood soaking tub. The showers are fantastic and having a laundry machine, fridge and microwave in each room is a welcome bonus. I really enjoy this hotel.”

”Amazing location, room 1 had view of Yasaka Pagoda right outside the window. Units were very comfortable and had everything we needed, small kitchen, laundry and wonderful bathroom with soaking tubs. Staff was very accommodating and easy to communicate with. We stayed with kids and another family. One thing to note, because of tourist crowding on the street it’s not possible for taxi/uber to get right to the hotel, you need to walk a bit to get there. Fine for us but just something to know.”

”Hotel was opened just five days before we arrived. Room was really comfy and clean. Staff was very helpful and could speak English very well. The location was not so good but it was quite easy to take a subway from the nearby station (5 minute walk) and go to center.”

”Great location! It was a smaller room but they make use of the space really well. The staff was friendly and helpful and they had a full bar of amenities available for use. The coffee shop next store also serves and amazing breakfast”

”Staff was very friendly which made checking in very smooth. Our room was super spacious for our family of four, but more importantly very clean. Location was excellent! 7 Eleven was right around the corner and Lawsons on the next block which made those egg sandwich, onigiri, pancakes, beverages, and coffee runs super quick. Lots of great eats and a pub nearby. Will definitely stay here again and highly recommend to anyone visiting the Kyoto area.”
