”The drive into this rustic fishing camp was beautiful! It was a dirt road for the last little bit but that was the fun part. There are swamps right off the road and we saw a deer and a raccoon. The sandbar is also very nice and because the river was low it was extremely wide which I’m sure can change but we enjoyed it. Being so close to the water would be nice for the fishermen out there.”

”I was disappointed by the condition of the home. Lights in kitchen did not work, door to main bedroom couldn’t close, had trouble with ceiling fans. Beds were comfortable and ac worked well. If going for old time farmhouse experience you got it. There is no microwave or coffee pot. Overall we enjoyed our stay even with the issues.”

”The home was very clean and well maintained, and the décor was tasteful and inviting. It was clear that the hosts put effort into making the space look nice. However, the amenities were fairly limited and didn’t fully meet our expectations. The layout of the home also wasn’t very practical, making it less comfortable than we had hoped. In addition, the ventilation could be improved, as some areas felt stuffy and lacked good airflow.Overall, it was a clean and nicely decorated place to stay, but a...

”This place is like a fancy tree house. We definitely enjoyed our trip! Everything was clean and it was delightful to be able to bring our dog. Access to the river was a cool feature and my husband enjoyed fishing briefly (before temperatures became too sweltering). Of note- there are no windows treatments in the house, which you definitely need to be cognizant of in the master bathroom, as there is a wraparound porch around the house. The lack of window treatments didn't really impact sleep...
