”The house was fantastic. The drive to the house was beautiful, and there were trails to hike and swim holes in the river within a short distance. The house had plenty of space, is eclectic and fun, well decorated but livable at the same time.Nice kitchen with anything you may need. It was hot while we were there so we did not get to use the outdoor areas as much as we would have liked. There is a huge screened porch /patio that would be perfect in cooler weather. Chatham is the root of our family so it was great to be in Chatham and still be free enough to do all the things we used to do with my grandfather when we visited 20 years ago. ”The location is perfect for a quick getaway. Situated right on the Cane River, it offers excellent opportunities for fishing, cooking out, or simply spending time with family and friends. ”Our stay in Natchitoches was made wonderful by the cute little bungalow that we rented. The location can’t be beat just steps away from the quaint little Riverside shopping area. The decor was spot on, so unique and interesting and perfect for the age of the home. Janice our host Was so gracious and communicated clearly with us. You won’t regret staying here.”
