”It was so lovely to stay at Lily's place. It's a small space, pristinely clean, perfect, comfortable, exactly what we needed. Felt like a little respite every time we returned from being out. Lily is a wonderful host and made us feel so very welcome. The neighborhood is lovely, especially in the summer with sweet gardens everywhere. This will be our #1 choice when we return to the area, which we do regularly. Thank you so much, Lily and family :-)”

”Everything about the property was as advertised. Checking in was easy and the communication was good with the owner. It's a basement unit with a good size living space and plenty of windows to keep the rooms bright. The fixtures and appliance are starting to show its age but everything worked. Good to have a washer and dryer on site. Compared to hotel prices in Markham these days, I felt this was good value.”

”The place was clean. But communication with host was poor prior to arrival (did not confirm my other guests) and poor during the stay. Called me to move car to put on other side of driveway despite no previous instructions. Most importantly, the host attempted to charge me a significant extra cleaning fee after checkout when place was left pristine. At first the host said it was “very dirty” then when asked to provide proof, they proceeded with character attacks and stating chairs were broken...

”DO NOT FALL FOR THIS PROPERTY. It may look clean and “luxurious” in the pictures, but our experience was completely different. Upon arrival, the host told us the room we had booked was suddenly unavailable and offered us a basement room for an EXTRA $70. We were exhausted and didn’t have the time or extra money to find another place, so we agreed. After leaving our things and going out to eat, the host called us twice asking how long we would be out and saying he had a “SURPRISE” for us. When...

”Owners were very nice. Told us to reach out if we needed anything. She offered to help us with our luggage. Very sweet. Even though we were forewarned about the sound of the pump in washroom, we weren’t expecting it to be that loud and running that often. The washroom is right behind the bed, so it will wake you up. The place was pretty clean, except the washroom and the entrance. Bed was comfortable and floors were clean. Location was great for where we needed to be. Beautiful neighbourhood....
