”My husband and I stayed at the Manchester View for 5 days while we were looking at houses. The hotel was nice enough to upgrade our room and it was wonderful. The room was so comfortable and spacious we didn't want to leave. Would definitely recommend the Manchester View to anyone and if we ever have an overflow of relatives that come to visit, they will be staying at the Manchester View.”

”This was a unique experience for me. It was like having a nice room in a log cabin. It was very quiet and peaceful right off the winding country road sitting in front of a forest with a beautiful outlook from the dining area. There was good self serve beverage options available when I arrived in the late evening and breakfast the next morning had enough quality items for a gluten free person like myself. No bread or baked goods for me but nice yogurt, fresh fruit and coffee. The owner Nick...

”Everything was even better than I expected — the room, the surroundings, and the views were all wonderful. The sauna was absolutely stunning, with beautiful design and an amazing view. I especially loved the view from the room, as well as the thoughtful touches like the card games and books provided in the room. The nearby river trails were also a great way to relax, clear my mind, and enjoy nature. The only minor downsides were that there wasn’t always someone available to help immediately if...

”What a refreshing change from the typical cookie-cutter hotels! This motel has its own unique personality, with quirky charm and a different vibe from the usual mainstream accommodations. The room was clean, comfortable, and well maintained, which is always my top priority. I loved that it felt distinctive and had character rather than looking like every other hotel room. If you appreciate places that are a little different, have charm, and offer a clean place to stay, this is definitely worth...

13. The Black Bear Lodge at Stratton Mountain Resort

”We visited during the summer on our road trip through New England. The town was completely dead. I can imagine it's wonderful in the winter but we were a bit disappointed. The hotel was very nice with good additional services. The spa seemed to be very small so during the peak season I would imagine it gets really growded. The staff was friendly and overall I'm happy with the place (+ we got the nigth at a bargain price). The breakfast was nothing to write home about.”

17. Fullerton Inn

”This place probably has the worst quality/price rating ever. Rooms are small, worn out and dirty. Bed was very worn out with a very poor mattress. Only entertainment in the room was the Holy Bible that was left laying on the table. There were even no glasses on the room (are we supposed to drink straight from the tap?). When we arrived to the place, we were directed to a room that was not cleaned. When going back to the reception, they appologized and gave us another room. When we asked for...

”If you are looking for your "Hallmark movie moment," The Inn at Manchester is an absolute must! From the moment you step onto the property, it feels picture-perfect, impossibly charming, and straight out of a cozy film. Brian, Gabby, Todd, and their entire team were absolutely amazing, and their hospitality was impeccable from start to finish! Waking up to the incredible aroma of bacon wafting through the Inn as we got ready for breakfast was the best start to the day, and returning in the...

”Stanford House was listed on Expedia as 9.0 Wonderful. I disagree. I saw photos that had rooms with white bed covers. I didn't expect something so different on a busy weekend in Manchester. However, even though the room was clean and seemed more recently painted, it was disappointing. I am not a dog owner, and the bed covers with large dog designs were shocking. There was no in- room coffee pot, no cups. There were many wires for TV, microwave ( very mini, less than a college microwave) mini...
