”This was our first stay at the Carmel Beach hotel, and we enjoyed it a lot. The location is perfect: next to the Scenic Drive and the gorgeous sunsets can be seen from the hotel. It is an easy walk to downtown restaurants, although coming back at night requires a mandatory flashlight or a cellphone flashlight for safety. The staff were very pleasant and treated us very well. We did not have breakfast at the hotel. ”

”Our stay was beautiful! The hotel is stunning, with a friendly and attentive staff, eager to make your stay a happy one. The buffet breakfast with omelette and waffle station was fabulous. The hotel is an historical building so the rooms and bathrooms maintain the original footprint and size, which prohibited any enlargement of the very small bathroom. But given all the other perks La Playa offers we survived the small space and would definitely return. ”
