”The house was cool, had a great view in a peaceful setting. It was very close to town. The property had everything you could need. Check in time and check out time are reversed on vrbo listing. So we were surprised at the 10am check out time. 10am came pretty early!”

”Although by no means 'fancy' digs, the house and its furnishings were perfectly comfortable and ideal for our group of six. It was a 5-8 min walk to the center of town, so convenient to all activities. We didn't do any cooking so can't speak to the adequacy of the kitchen furnishings, but you do need to provide your own coffee. Simple, reasonably priced accommodations in a beautiful location.”

”Had a wonderful time over Memorial Day weekend, despite the cold and rainy weather. The beds were super comfortable. We did not want for anything. The kitchen is incredibly well stocked, which was super helpful since we cooked all our meals at the house. Great attention to detail with the ammenities in the bedrooms and bathrooms. Even had two bald eagles hang out in the trees surrounding the deck for a bit.”

”We had a good time at the property. It was lovely inside but could use some editing of the beautiful sit about. So many treasures there was no space to move about with our belongings. The kitchen was well appointed. The stairs to the upper space are problematic for us older folks. The yard could use a good clean up. Front door has a large gap at the bottom losing heat..and the scrsen door would not closs. Front porch step is uneven and a bit dangerous. Overall a lovely space . Very fantastic...

”What a Lovely property this was! I came with my husband and my parents who are visiting from the East Coast and the location was absolutely perfect. Very close to downtown, incredibly clean, and the views were breathtaking! We loved having our morning coffee on the balcony every morning. Five stars! And excellent communication with the host as well. We will definitely be coming back!”

”The property was beautiful and it was so nice to be so close to the ocean. We had 4 kids with us and they were amazed by the bunk beds with their own light and book pouch. They spent every moment possible out playing on the beach during low tide or in the hot tub. A few issues arose during our stay but Dean was very responsive and quick to remedy them. We are hoping to be able to visit again soon!”

The hot tub was an added bonus and the weather stayed perfect for enjoying it under the evening sky. ”We had a great short getaway and enjoyed sitting in the living room and outside watching otters, seals and boats pass by. This property is somewhat cheaper than some other comparable properties on Lopez and there is a reason, as indicated by many other reviewers. The home has generally not been updated much at all since it was built, so everything creaks and groans. For some strange reason, we found that most of the crockery had not been cleaned properly, so we had to clean it all off as we used...
