”Very beautifully located and renovated place with great history, peaceful atmosphere and super-friendly service. Breakfast was served in a beautiful garden and it was great as it changed a bit every day. Room was spacious and clean with tub and fridge etc. Great views and many nice places to hang outside and read a book etc. The pool area was lovely also. Great value for your money! The only downside was a bit slow/at times non-existent wifi.”

”Small family-owned inn located in center of Civitella in Val di Chiana. Room was comfortable and included all we needed. It was cold upon check-in which the co-owner tried to remedy with a space heater. It took a while. The room warmed up after the first night. The other co-owner kindly offered me our first night complimentary. (Thank you again.). ”We were promised a room with valley view but got a room with town view and it couldn't be changed. Also the listing on Expedia mentions a kitchenette which is not accurate as the rooms do not have that. We were offered to free of charge be upgraded to an apartment after the first night, but we decided to just stick with the room. In the end the room was very nice, the windows soundproof so we didn't hear the church bells at all, nor the traffic. Great stay in the end!”
