Excellent stay! Extremely nice staff! Great vibes!! Room was ok. It was very clean and that’s important to me! Couldn’t enjoy rooftop in the evenings, bc heaters didn’t put off enough heat for us. Others seemed to enjoy it and it was a nice setting and view! One morning of free breakfast was included and the buffet staff was very nice and provided great service in a FAST paced environment! Location is exceptional for all the Venice entertainment and also a short walk to Abbott Kinney, which is a must visit! Hated the amenities fee… no pool or gym & wasn’t interested in the other things, mainly because it was not the warmest outside. Wish we could be refunded for it, TBH.. In summary-solid 4.3/5 based on all of the above. We would absolutely stay here again!!

Location is excellent, but furniture and carpet in suite were very worn and housekeeping was poor. Plus resort view came as a surprise for a property with no resort amenities. Have stayed before but probably will not go back.

Staff was great but $150 ! Night for incidentals and $40 a night for whatever is just robbery. So i paid $670 for 3 nights before i even got there plus the $150 & $40 charge. Wayyyyy tooo much money and they try to entice you but putting all these drinks and food in your room to get you. They dont tell you any of this before you go. Oh yeah not to mention $132 charge when you leave .. never never never never again

Nice breakfast included in the stay. Found the bed very comfortable. Great rooftop bar. Overall good hotel and I would come back and stay there in the future.

It was a cute boutique hotel. My girls loved it! Very clean, comfy, and quiet. We had a city view room with a balcony. Didnt ise any of the amenities, but want to go back for the summer! It was the perfect location for our needs. Everyone was so helpful and friendly!

I don’t recommend this place. $40 surprise daily charge! Terrible! Very old property in a junky area next to cannabis store and lots of homelessness. Felt crammed and “free” breakfast was gross. Sticky silverware and tables.

My family and I stayed for two nights and absolutely loved it. The staff was part of the best experience we have had traveling with children. From the front desk to housekeeping to the people the served our breakfast. Very accommodating on all requests. We will be returning for sure!

Location was great and staff was friendly however there was construction going on the property and every morning I had to wake up early because of the noise. Due to that I was unable to get any good sleep during my stay there.

The manager is amazing. We had a little miscommunication on our reservation, but he not only made it right, but went the extra mile. He put us in a suite overlooking the ocean. The staff helped us move our bags. I have always loved staying at Hotel Erwin, but this is a great example of when things in life don’t go right, it’s how you react it. The staff at Hotel Erwin go out of their way to make it right and provide a priceless experience. I highly recommend staying here.

Great location, if you want to be in the thick of the Venice boardwalk. It was really noisy in one side of building, so I would suggest asking to be on the quieter side. It was much better

Stunning views, rooftop restaurant and great staff
Absolutely loved this hotel, right on the beach front. We were lucky enough to have an ocean view room and wow!! Watching the sunrise and sunset over the iconic Venice beach was wonderful. The rooftop bar was stunning, the cafe served great coffee and the staff were both helpful and attentive. Loved it here and would definitely come back.
