A piece of heaven...enjoy the amazing position and views of this unique apartment, right on the ocean and perfectly situated for peace and tranquility in nature with spectacular sunsets. Enjoy the year round climate of Tenerife, listening to the sound of the waves and ocean and star gazing direct from the private terrace. Centrally located, with easy access to the marina and beach (Playa los Guios) as well as the many excellent restaurants and bars of Los Gigantes. No TV, but excellent high speed WiFi!

The space
The apartment is part of a gated complex, in the heart of Los Gigantes, with private and secure access. It sits in a very peaceful location, sympathetic to nature, with just the sound of the ocean to help you drift off to sleep...The apartment has its own private terrace, as well as access to a much larger terrace with dining table and sun loungers. Perfect for indoor and outdoor living. The year round climate of Tenerife means that you can make the most of all the indoor and outdoor spaces. The terrace is west facing, with uninterrupted views of the famous cliffs of Los Gigantes ("The Giants") and of the ocean across to La Gomera and La Palma. There is a main bedroom, with double bed and cupboards, plus a separate twin bedroom, also with cupboards. There is a bathroom with shower, plus a well-equipped kitchen with everything you need for a comfortable stay. The lounge looks out onto the ocean and has access direct to the terraces. BBQs are possible on the terrace. There are many excellent restaurants and bars within easy walking distance in Los Gigantes. Los Gigantes is a great base for day trips, including whale and dolphin watching, Mount Teide, Siam Water Park, water and wind sports at El Medano etc. At night, it is a peaceful place, perfect for relaxing.

The host can also recommend options for sailing and retreats (yoga, meditation..) if you are interested.

Guest access
The apartment is accessed by a private entrance, dedicated to only 3 apartments (6 in the block in total). There is a smaller private terrace, as well as access direct to a much larger terrace with wooden sun loungers with cushions and a large dining table and chairs for perfect al fresco options.

VRBO Property ID 11597042 - Ocean Front Apartment Los Gigantes, near Marina and Beach – No. 19

We booked into this apartment for a 28-day stay on 12.03.25. We checked out after 10 days (would have left sooner but were unable to find alternative apartment). Pros:•Good Wi-Fi signal.•Lots of electrical sockets.Cons- Access – 60 steps in total leading to the apartment so no good if you have mobility issues or small children in pushchairs. - Lack of security - despite there being a locked gate at the top of the complex, guests/owners were leaving this open allowing anyone to walk around the complex. - Unclean. Despite being advised that the cleaner had been in, it smelt musty, there were live cockroaches in the drawers in the bedroom, weevil-type insects covering the kitchen worktop, thick cobwebs in the living area, rubble behind the unit in the living area, etc. - Only one set of keys so if only one wanted to go out, the other had to be locked in.- Huge gaps around the patio doors which we had to block up with Ikea catalogues that were in the apartment.- Issues with the water which were eventually resolved after WE had to wait in on our holiday for a plumber to come and look at (he couldn't fix it and the water co had to come and fit a new meter which meant we were totally without water for a few hours while this was fixed).- Don't watch the misleading YouTube video of the apartment. There is no TV! - Limited hanging space in wardrobes.- No curtains so too light to sleep.- Like holidaying on a derelict building site.We could go on.
