When a kayak was ‘delivered’ to me by the man renting it, I didn’t care about surfing anymore. I left the guys train and I started paddling as far as I could, all eyes and ears along the shores/banks.>

”My stay was a respite from daily life, situated on a coastal bulff where the Tayrona river meets the sea. The sea was a little rough for normal beach activities but lying in a hamock listening to the waves crash and watching surfers was sooooo relaxing. The property is not super luxe but it is nicely finished and wel maintained and the staff are attentive and friendly. A great opportunity to practice Spanish since not a lot of English is spoken. The food was all freshly prepared to order and...
