”Unfortunately, our stay did not meet expectations. The room was located directly next to the freeway, which resulted in significant noise throughout the night and made it very difficult to sleep. In addition, the cleanliness of the room was unsatisfactory, when we tried to shower there was hair in the shower, which did not reflect the standard we expected. The bed was also extremely uncomfortable and appeared worn, contributing further to a poor night’s sleep. Overall, the combination of...

”Damien was great — he was attentive, helpful, and wanted to make sure we enjoyed our stay. However, the hotel building itself was a bit old and the floors were loud. The window screen in our room was broken, and the AC was also a bit loud. The hot breakfast was excellent.”

”Clean room, nice hotel, good breakfast. Great location. It’s close to restaurants, shopping and freeway. Short 10-20 minutes to the beach and close to local wineries. Loved our stay. Will be back again.”

”We stay at the Motel 6 San Luis Obispo South every time we come to town. It is affordable and a very nice property with lots of trees and in a safe area. Staff is always friendly and helpful. We like this place very much. The only complaint is the noisy big rig trucks that park in the back and fire up very early in the morning. Some of the best rooms are at the back but be prepared for the noise!”

”From check in we were treated well. They gave us a bottle of wine for our anniversary. The room was very clean and the hotel was set up very nicely. The gym was excellent the pool was smaller than expected but still very nice my only suggestion for improvement would be the breakfast buffet.”

”The property is in a state park, there are many beautiful sites and walks nearby. When we stayed the rookery next door was full of nesting cormorants. Loved all the bird songs & sounds each morning and enjoyed watching them build nests and bring food to the young hatchlings. All this and you could easily walk into town or it’s a short 5 minute drive. I will definitely stay here again.”

”Excellent hotel, super clean. Staff amazing. Breakfasts very good compared with too many hotels. There is a walking trail to the port where all restaurants are located and it takes you around 25 minutes walking. Which is not bad. This hotel is a place to stay ”

”Great setting. Situated high up in a cliff with access to the beach and a walkway with benches where you could sit down with a glass of wine and watch the birds soar on the ocean breezes. Staff was very helpful. They made some great dinner suggestions.”
