”This was a beautiful unit a short drive from San Jose. The host offered us food and breakfast and messaged to check in if we were comfortable. We saw so many birds in the morning and evening. The pictures on the website don’t do justice to the amazing property. ”

”I loved the room, the breakfast, the pool, the grounds (there were wonderful paths leading to nearby goats that you could see on a neighboring property). There was a sauna and a hot tub but neither was on. There was a sign for yoga but I didn't see any yoga session.”

”Simple place for simple stay. Easy check in. Nice patio area with a good free breakfast for guest. Easy walking to restaurants etc. Does the job you need.”

”My friends and I stayed in this hotel to explore the Central Valley and the location is perfect. The staff is friendly and helpful. We loved their breakfast options including fruit, scrambled eggs, fresh corn tortillas, rice and beans. We ate dinner there one night and it was very good. One of my friends had a beef dish and I just wanted a plate of vegetables, which was delicious. ”Highly recommend The Retreat hotel! It was gorgeous and the views breath taking. The staff was very attentive and kind. Will definitely go again. The tours were over priced though. ~400 per tour and while the locations were beautiful it was not worth that much money. Also note there is no food you can buy except for in the restaurants there. So grab some snack at the airport. But highly recommend this place. Even in the rainy season it was amazing ”
