”We had a nice stay here. Loved Westport. Easy to walk downtown from the location. Many great options for restaurants and pubs. Room was too hot with no way to control the heat, but were able open the windows to make it comfortable. ”

”The accommodation is both a bar/restaurant and a b&b and sits next to the eastern pier about 400 metres from the ferry drop off. Despite my room being right above the bar - which was happy and full of chat - it was perfectly quiet in the evening. I had a great full Irish breakfast the next morning. Service was pleasant and friendly. Great!”

”The Ashville Guesthouse is a charming property just on the outskirts of Westport. The room was spacious, clean and quiet and the beds were very comfortable. Breakfast was freshly prepared with something for every taste. The full Irish breakfast was excellent. Hilary and Oliver are exceptional hosts and make their guests feel very comfortable. I highly recommend this B&B and will book again if my travels take me back to the area.”

”We arrived at Renvyle House Hotel and were met by three receptionists who were super friendly and helpful. They arranged for someone to carry our cases to our rooms. Our rooms were very comfortable and had lovely views of the sea. Dinner and breakfast were brilliant with fresh fruit and breads made on the premises. ”First time in Castlebar and found this hotel to be a great location to stay in before my meeting next day. Whilst i arrived after 7pm and the restaurant kitchen closed at 7pm, I rang the reception and they offered me the choice to pre order a dinner - went for Roast Beef. On arrival check-in was very swift, my room was warm and comfortable and dinner when served was delicious. Quiet room with warm shower and great bed - so superb sleep enjoyed. Breakfast was delicious with nice choices on...

Stunning views from the lounge where we saw dolphins on our last evening. Weather was kind enough to use the sun loungers and use the patio set.
