This listing is one suite inside A12 Suites, a reimagined 1970s landmark boutique hotel in the heart of downtown Louisville. There are 10 different suites in this building. With other groups potentially in the building during your stay, you'll have full privacy inside your suite plus access to common areas like the elevator, both stairwells, and the lobby.



Step into Sir Barton, the Floor 1 Stakes Suite where European craftsmanship meets Kentucky bourbon heritage. Named for the very first Triple Crown winner, Sir Barton, who claimed the title in 1919 just as Prohibition was beginning, this suite carries that same "first of its kind" pedigree. Wrapped in a refined palette of Natural Linen, Euphoric Lilac, Vigorous Violet, and Kimono Violet, Sir Barton tells the story of Vendome Copper & Brass Works, the Louisville company that has been hand-hammering the copper stills used by Kentucky's distillers for over a century. From medicinal alcohol during Prohibition to ethanol production during WWII to today's bourbon boom, every gleaming still in Kentucky comes through Vendome's shop. Four bedrooms, six beds, two full baths, a full kitchen, and a living room, the perfect basecamp for 12 guests deep into the bourbon story.

Tucked behind a hidden Dover Blue freight-elevator wall door off The Provisions Hall, our basement-level NHS Speakeasy + Game Room features a pool table, games, a custom bar, lounge seating, a chef's kitchen, and a large group dining and conference table. The Industrial-Prohibition aesthetic is perfect for game nights, private dinners, bourbon tastings, and after-hours gatherings.



🎨 All artwork throughout the building was done by a single artist and is on loan from a private collection.



Interaction with Guests:

This is a self-guided stay. We won't be available in person, but our small team is reachable through the booking platform's messaging tools for anything you need before, during, or after your stay.
