”There was no on site car parking as indicated- needed to park in public car park up the road. Was further to walk to beach and shops than indicated . We chose for location and accommodation was much more expensive than other options and we were disappointed with that. Bed was very uncomfortable - partner and I had sore backs ”

”Our Ocean View apartment was perfect for a few days in beautiful Lorne. Spotlessly clean and comfortable, it’s in the perfect location to access everything Lorne has to offer. The icing on the cake was the balcony with views directly onto the beach. ”

”Stayed at Point Lonsdale Apartments recently — great location, but overall disappointing.
Advertised as 4-star, but felt closer to 3-star. Rooms are older and could use a more thorough clean (noticeable dust). The “premium bedding” didn’t live up to the claim either — very firm beds and wafer-thin pillows made for an uncomfortable stay, and we ended up checking out early.
Biggest issue was the lack of transparency around access — there was no mention of four flights of stairs to reach the...
