  • Rock River Executive Inn is a spacious open concept home that overlooks the beautiful Rock River. Comfortably sleeps 11 guests with (2) full master suites, each with a queen bed, (2) queen sleeper sofas (1) super comfy chase lounger and (2) single roll-away beds. This amazing home offers all of the amenities!! Washer & Dryer, Cable and super fast WiFi, 3 TVs (1 in the great room and 1 in each bedroom) remote control fireplace, full kitchen with a dishwasher, a jetted tub, huge low profile walk in shower, amazing patio with a grill, views of the River and we are pet friendly.

    The property has a huge outdoor venue that features commercial men’s and women’s bathrooms. The private enclosed yard offers plenty of room for small weddings, birthday parties and family reunions with lots of private parking for guests!

    This property is versatile and can accommodate everyone’s vision of a perfect getaway or gathering.

The home was beautiful and comfortable. Although it could sleep many more, it was perfect for the 3 of us! We had family and friends over for a cookout one day. Plenty of parking, plenty of seating on the patio that overlooked the river. It is conveniently located to anyplace we needed to go...Machesney Park, Loves Park, Rockford, Rockton, etc. It was a quick drive to and from the Rockford Int'l Airport. Kristy was a wonderful host and quickly responded to every inquiry! We loved having Tads on the Rock within walking distance! Good music on the weekends. Good food, always. And right on the river. Thank you, Kristy!!

Return bookers and we weren't disappointed again. Our host Kristiy, provided a lovely fruit bowl, snacks, eggs, blueberry muffins, my favorite, I felt so special, and a loaf of bread. You honestly feel like you're coming home!The spacious design is perfect for our two dogs. Even though it's pet friendly, everything is extremely clean and smells wonderful the moment you walk in. They provide an air purifier, which runs all the time. Situated right by the pet station of snacks, tie out, toys, dog bowls, all the things you need in case you forgot something for your furry family.Make sure to visit Japanese garden and dine alfresca in their restaurant. Pro tip get the strawberry cheesecake! You'll thank me later.We simply love Krist's place and couldn't ask for a better hostess.

Beautiful stay here! The open layout was perfect for us. The dog was so happy here too. Large yard and all the things we needed. Kristy was so accommodating, as our needs changed several times. Thank you Kristy for adjusting to our crazy last minute schedule changes. The neighbors are all friendly as well :). We look forward to coming back for a getaway in the future.

AMAZING!

We enjoyed everything about our stay! We loved the location - so easy to get anywhere from there. There were breakfast foods, etc. there which was so helpful for the first morning there.Also, the communication and follow-up with everyone was top notch. Great, Spacious Location!

Open concept was great - tons of space both inside and in the yard for games with family and friends. The place came with a ton of great snacks and food for us. Host was responsive throughout the weekend. Our group enjoyed the stay and would definitely return!

Family visit

The property was clean and easily accessible from family in Belvidere. There was breakfast food and fruit available ipon arrival. This was a pet friendly location and this made it easier to bring them along as well.

A great place to stay

We loved the open concept and the back porch area overlooking the river. This was a perfect spot for our family as we visited family and friends in the area!!! Cant wait to see what you do with the additional properties and pool in the back! Thank you!

Happy 23 anniversary

We had a wonderful weekend. It was nice to sit back and relax. We was close to Chicago so we went there to see some sights. Also close to galena to go do some shopping. Just all around great weekend for wife and I to celebrate our 23 anniversary!

Large Great Room with a river view

We were happy to be able to take a vacation with our dogs. Although the property wasn't fully fenced in, it had a very large yard -- which was great for the kids & dogs to play. The great room was indeed large with some nice views of the river. The amenities were also very nice -- lots of supplies and the breakfast fixings were a nice touch.

Thanksgiving 2024

Our Thanksgiving family celebration was absolutely wonderful thanks to Kristy and this spacious well equipped space. Any family that needs wheelchair accessible, and has family pets, plus roomy accommodations, this is the place for you. The added treats for pets and people were a nice touch, as well. We also saw an eagle and watched a fox and bunny as we looked out at the Rock River! Thank you for everything!! 💜

Delightful

Kristy is a wonderful host! We had some big storms come in on our first two nights and she communicated wonderfully to check in on us.There was fresh fruit available and it made it easier to come in and rest before we went out for groceries. Among a few other wonderful setups that just made staying more enjoyable.My family loved the open concept! It was way better than all of us staying at a hotel, because we had the chance to spend extra time together (one relative flew in from Canada!). Board games were there, so we played a lot too!Location is good, hidden near the lake. We were just a little worried when all the rain came in how comfortable we would be if it flooded Overall, great place if you’re looking for a home near/around Rockford!

Exactly what we needed

Our family stayed here for a handful of days and had a great time. The property is spacious with a beautiful front yard for children and dogs to run around and the back fenced patio is large, partially covered to provide shade and rain protection and faces the river, making for a relaxing outdoor experience. The home was very clean and the kitchen was well stocked with breakfast items and snacks, cooking utensils, spices and everything you could want for making meals, which we greatly appreciated throughout our stay. There were even board games and puzzles, cards and magazines. We highly recommend staying here especially with a larger family with kids.
