”We had a fabulous 2 night stay at The Slaughters Country Inn. The check in process, the room (cottage) was clean and had all the amenities you need. Comfy bed and lovely bathroom.
Surpassed expectation.

”La 1ere nuit s’est tres bien passée, le restaurant très bien, nous avions prévu de rester une seule nuit, finalement nous en avons pris une 2ème pour explorer un peu plus les environs. Le personnel très agréable, rien à redire. La terrasse en été doit être top !”

”Everything. The staff are so friendly, the room clean and comfortable. Great breakfast cooked to order and evening meals we had were delicious.
It’s a cosy little oldie worldly pub with 2 open fires, was nice and quiet when we went with a few locals in of an evening. Owner very helpful. Would recommend 👍”

”We loved our stay at the Lion Inn! From check in to check out and every moment in between the staff were friendly and attentive. We stayed in the Oakley Room and it was just perfect, a stunning room with gorgeous decor and attention to detail, only made better by the huge bathtub! We had breakfast on both mornings of our stay which was delicious and filling with a variety of options. I would highly recommend and stay at The Lion for your visit to the Cotswolds! ”

”The hotel was perfect for my weekend retreat in the Cotswolds. My room was spacious and impeccably clean and convenient. The daily breakfast was very delicious and quite generous but the gem of the hotel is really the staff who are courteous, helpful, and most professional. I will stay at this hotel again whenever I am in the Cotswolds. Well done White Hart Royal Hotel and staff!”
