”Very attractive gastro pub off the beaten track. Excellent food and range of drinks. I was fortunate the weather was glorious so an evening in the beer garden was appreciated. The room was a good size if only a little dated. The large sash window offered little in sound proofing but had the most glorious view across a field of sunflowers. ”Spotless.ly clean & lovely interior design. En suite very good & had a lovely slipper bath. Breakfast was exceptional with lots of choice to include pancakes & omelettes as well as traditional fry up. Hosts gave great attention to detail & were very happy to give advice & information to enable us to have a really enjoyable stay. ”

Check-in was easy with guidance sent in advance, and the room was cleaned well during the day. The accomodation was clean and comfortable, although the common areas were unlit during the day so quite dark. A small amount of shampoo and shower gel was provided, and the room had a kettle. ”We were given room 4, apparently it has an Infamous reputation as the lad who looks after the hotel called a few hours before check-in to ask if we wanted to find alternative accommodation due to the amount of complaints they have about this room. ”We had a fantastic stay! The environment was welcoming. The host was prompt to give assistance when needed. ”

”A very nice holiday park, good size and good location for access to the beach, with Tesco express just up the road and only a short drive to Asda. It was quite hot over the weekend we stayed and the bedrooms did get hot, a fan would have been useful with young children as having the windows open was too noisy at that time. The lodge was clean, nicely presented and we would definitely look to stay again.”
