”I am not sure how this property received and excellent rating. The building was so run down, it was concerning. Had we not been exhausted and the room prepaid, we would have gone elsewhere. The walls are paper thin, you can hear conversations in other rooms. There was someone hooting and hollering, a car alarm went off repeatedly. The room was ok, if you get a room on the second floor, be aware, there is no elevator. We did not try the breakfast, so I cannot comment on that. I would not...

”We were in town for a concert and needed to check-in early. Staff was accommodating, however, we did have to pay an extra $35 to check-in early. I can understand the fee and appreciated being able to so we would not have to leave our concert early. The room was very clean and comfortable and the complimentary breakfast was great! Felt very safe and comfortable and would stay again next time I'm in town.”

”We stayed at the cottage. Living room, full kitchen and half bth on first floor while bed room and full bath on top. Very clean and well prepared. The outside garden is beautiful. Main building where main office locat we is very clean and nice to visit while we have breakfast there. Hidden gem!”

”My grandson and i stayed here for 2 nights during a baseball tournament at Marshall Park. This was a great places to stay! Very quiet and close to everything you could possibly need. 10 minutes or less from Marshall Park. We will definitely be staying here again if we’re in the area.”

”Excessive mold in the room we checked into. Not a few spots but a huge solid swatch about 2-3 square feet in the corner of one of the showers. The rooms themselves were not the cleanest and outdated, but I could have dealt with that if not for the mold. I had rented 2 rooms, and requested 2 rooms adjacent if possible. The fact that the staff felt it was appropriate to rent out this room instead of saying they were unable to accommodate the request made me question if the staff had any standards...

”The hotel rooms need to be updated. There were carpet stains on the floor and water stains on the ceiling. All the furniture in the room was old, scratched, and chipped. The hair dryer didn’t work and there was hair in the tub when we arrived. The price was reasonable so with the conditions of the rooms, I didn’t complain. I guess it’s true the saying,”you get what you pay for.””

”The people were very nice every time. The only handicap is that the hotel doesn't have a generator in case of power outages. But everything else was excellent”
