Rustic Cabin Overlooking Private 48 acre Bass Fishing Lake

This rustic, warm and cozy cabin overlooks a beautiful 48 acre lake. When you arrive at the cabin you will be met with a breathtaking view of the lake. The lake is stocked with trophy large mouth bass, catfish and bream. You can relax on the porch and let your senses awaken with the sights and sounds of nature all around you. Early risers can enjoy a cup of coffee and an immense and absolute beautiful sunrise.

THE SPACE:
The cabin is rustic, warm and cozy. You are sure to feel right at home when you enter.

KITCHEN:
A full kitchen, stocked with pots, pans, plates, glasses, etc. Has a refrigerator, stove, microwave and coffee pot.

LIVING AREA:
The charming living area offers a dinette, reading chair and a full sized bed; complete with fresh clean linens.

LOFT:
Upstairs offers a loft with two twin beds, with a view of the lake.

BATHROOM:
Cabin offers one bathroom. That has a shower with linens and complimentary personal travel sized personal hygiene.

OUTDOOR FEATURES:
Porch that offers great views of the lake. A fire pit beside the lake to enjoy some smores! A charcoal BBQ grill to enjoy a memorable BBQ. A picnic table to enjoy a evening meal on a cool breezy evening. Enjoy some fishing right from there pier. If you are bringing a boat to fish, let me know ahead of time to reserve your spot to fish, there is a fee when bringing a boat of $50 per person each day you plan to be on the lake.

This cabin will truly give you a country experience with its rustic charm. As soon as you
enter the cabin I am sure you will feel right at home. If you are ready to get away from the hustle and bustle of busy tourist attractions, then this is the perfect place for you to be!

**NOTE**
For your safety, the cabin is sanitized and deep cleaned between guests. We are very careful to do a complete surface cleaning throughout the cabin with a commercial grade sanitizer.

We recently purchased this property and this Vrbo is new to us. However, this cabin is not new to Vrbo, it has been on Vrbo for several years with nothing but satisfied reviews. I plan to maintain those reviews and extend the southern hospitality as the previous owners.

Very dirty and the bathroom door would not open. Spiders in bed and rat droppings in upstairs twin bed. We left after first night. Smells like cigarettes smoke and has cigarette butts everywhere.

The building is located by a cow and pig slaughter house. The wind would blow the stench of rotting flesh towards the cabin. We could not enjoy the being outside. My dogs was frighten to walk on the property. This was the worse vacation I have ever had. I would not recommend it to anyone. The cabin was very dark. The light in the bathroom vanity did not work. We had only 1 toilet paper roll. No bath soap was left. Thank goodness I brought soap and toilet paper. We were far away from the Dollar General. The bar b w pit grill grate needs to be replaced. It is so used the grate look like it was going to break when my husband cleaned it.
Need to bring forks with you. The cabin only had 2 forks.

Absolutely beautiful location !! Accommodations were wonderful . Only thing that may have been helpful would be a ceiling fan to move the heat down to the living area as we had a few chilly days . Sunrise & sunsets from porch were amazing . I would recommend this cabin & would also stay again .

Our little dog absolutely loved the area. Lots of places to run. Sitting on the deck having a cocktail was great. This is our first VRBO ever. The only thing for us is that it was hard to find, no WiFi totally enjoyed the stay

The cabin was filthy with layers of dust on the furnishings. The shower floor was dirty. The cabin needed a thorough cleaning from floor to ceiling; cobwebs and dust bunnies everywhere. It smelled like dead animals while I sat on the back porch. There were only 2 reflectors marking the road, no street sign or VRBO sign as stated. The dirt road was filled with ruts holding water; I was scared to get stuck in the mud. I only stayed one night instead of the two nights I booked because rains were coming, and the road was already slippery and holding water.

We did not get to spend to much time at the cabin due to being in for daughters wedding. You know how busy that can be.If you enjoy being in the woods and nature, then this is the place for you. The cabin was clean and the beds were comfortable. It is a ladder that goes to the loft, not stairs, and was easy for me.to climb.The dirt road to the cabin is a little rough and on hard rainy days you may need a 4 wheel drive due to ruts in the road. The walk to the lake is down hill but was ok for my husband to make who has difficulty walking. Over all we had a wonderful peaceful setting to relax after our long days. The directions were easy to follow and lead us straight to the road. The only issue was that we did not see a VRBO sign or number.

The cabin had the wrong directions and its down an unmarked dirt road. The cabin is not kept well it has grown up weeds all around and the bedlinen looked like it was worn out. It is a very long walk to the lake from the cabin down a very steep hill so not a walk for some. This is a very disappointing place.

Outstanding setting in the woods. Cabin was rustic and romantic. The best part was watching my husband enjoying the fishing. We did end our stay a day early only because our dogs were getting bit by ticks. That is to be expected in the woods. A few minor things needed attention and the owner was very nice when I brought it to her attention. We do plan to go back but we will probably go when the ticks are in their off season and when we are better prepared. They had information about a few places in the area and to our surprise the ice cream was the best we ever tasted. The creamery offered other items but we did purchase milk and chocolate milk. I promise you it was worth the time. The porch had a Very nice breeze in August that felt like October, made a great way to wake up with coffee and water view.

Not a clean place and an odor in the air

Sadly the cabin was not very clean or comfortable. We found dead bugs covering the loft beds like it had not bee cleaned in awhile. We had to go to Walmart and get a blow up mattress for our child. The A/c output vents had mold. The queen bed was very old and noisy and you can feel the springs. There is a meat processing plant or cows that put a foul odor in the air. There were times I couldnt enjoy sitting on the porch because the smell was so bad. However, the lake had great fishing and we caught 5 fish. I hope the place gets cleaned up.

Great stay will definitely be back!

Cabin was clean and well kept! Fishing was great my husband and two year old had so much fun even just fishing off the floating dock! LOCATION LOCATION LOCATION!!! We loved all the produce fields around and stoped at “Charlie’s u-pik”’it was great and the watermelon was so good! The downtown area was only 20 mins away! You definitely won’t be disappointed!

Quiet, relaxing

It was a great quiet location. Hard to find and had we been in a car we would have been stuck due to rain. The cabin is cute and had all we needed for our quick trip. Bathroom was cery dark. But we would come back!
