We only stayed one night, booking in at the last minute when our flights were rescheduled to a day later. We were very pleasantly surprised by the quality of this affordable accommodation. The staff were very friendly and helpful, and our meals at the restaurant were great. Some of the best we ate in Vanuatu! The included breakfast had a lot of options too. We'd happily stay at Beachfront Resort again.

The only problem was that the hot water was not enough for more than two people, and we were four. The staff was very kind and helpful, super nice people!

The property was actually pretty clean however the toilet in our cabin was leaking all over the floor. No coffee in the morning the coffee machine was broken, decided on a smoothie but they didn't have any fruit. We had no chef to cook dinner and your a decent cab ride to town. Favourite thing about this Resort was the lovely staff however the management are not maintaining the resort very well and it's in a not so great location, there's many better resorts on the island

Very convenient to Luganville and airport. Great grounds. Good beds and comfort. Excellent excellent food eith daily specials. Breakfast easy and adequate. Entire staff extremely helpful. Rebook next visit!! Pool is also great!

Property was almost vacant,only 4 rooms were occupied.Looks like it is possibly changing hands as most of the property was locked up.Breakfast consisted of mouldy bread small amount of fruit and stale muffins.I don’t do reviews of properties but feel the need to this time. Toilet wouldn’t flush , shower was good first night but night 2 water went spurting out over the top of the shower and into the bathroom, no flannels , no hair dryer as stated .On the upside the air conditioning worked . Was really run down . Staff were. nice . Was a good place to spend a couple of nights as our days were spent out and about.I hope the new owners will make significant improvements as the pictures really are misleading.Has potential to be a great place.

The nicest, most helpfully and genuine people you will ever meet! The office ladies went above and beyond and the food from the restaurant was perfect! 'Chef' knows his stuff in the kitchen! A convenient, close to the town place to stay! I highly recommend a stay here.

Very comfortable. Good internet. Well groomed grounds and friendly staff. A wonderful experience. Away from the hustle of town, can catch regular buses from a short distance walk away for the five minutes car travel into town.

Comfortable accommodation close to Luganville town. The restaurant on site has delicious meal options. We appreciated the AC in our room (only place out of the 4 places we stayed on our trip on Santo that had AC). Many locals go fishing on the beach front area and the water is clear, but the beach itself is more of a brown sand (not white if you are expecting that). The pool was nice but could have been a bit cleaner. Helpful staff and clean room. Overall, would recommend and stay again.

Chose this because it was on the beach,but the beach was gravel and muddy and not nice for a swim. Room smelled very musty when we arrived but once the ceiling fan was going for a bit that helped, could do with something to sit on in the room other than the bed. The team there were very helpful in regard to getting around and general day to day things

First off, I want to say the staff are excellent. They handled our situation very professionally. The bungalow should have been great but this hotel is not ready for guests. The pool is out of service, full of green algae. The main restaurant is under reconstruction so is closed. The continental breakfast is basic but that may have been because there were so few guests. The wifi service was sketchy to none. It is located on a non swimmable beach-the staff and locals say do not swim in the ocean in front! For these reasons we left, with the staff expediting our refund so it ended well.

Peaceful location near the beach and town

We had a really good stay at the Beachfront. I think most people only stay a couple days then move up the coast, but as a family with young children, the location had everything we needed as a base. It had a lovely big fare for meals or just hanging out by the terrific new swimming pool. There was a beach and it while it was not one of the well cared for 'white sand' beaches, it was great fun for the kids, and there was a snorkeling area very close by as well. We enjoyed using the kayaks too. The staff were very sweet and everything was very 'island style - island time' which helped us relax. The staff took very good care of the facilities and our room. We had thought we'd had a kitchenette but there were no cooking facilities available. A BBQ would have been good to have use of . Generally though I would say that Santo is probably more geared toward scuba divers , not so much family resorts. The manager was relatively new and didn't seem hugely knowledgeable of the activities available, they could have been more proactive but it didn't bother us as we had done our own research.

This beachfront stay was a major letdown. The room reeked of dampness, likely from poor cleaning and half-inch gaps in the exterior door. Dirty walls, a loose toilet seat, and bizarre green/brown dripping faucets were gross. The shower barely worked, spraying all over, and hot water was scarce despite two front desk complaints. Annoyingly, the room had no phone, so trips to the office were necessary for every issue, rain or shine. The "complimentary continental breakfast" was a joke. Totally inconsistent and consistently weak, it started with toast, three sad condiment options, a small plate of local fruit, granola, yogurt, and a drink. The next day was the same, but the yogurt was clearly spoiled – slimy, curdled, and sour. By the third morning, the yogurt was obviously rotten, completely separated and warm. My wife, expecting bad yogurt, wanted granola, but it was gone. Plus, we often found dirty utensils and plates. Then, on our last day, with new guests arriving, breakfast suddenly became a huge buffet. Beyond the bad room and breakfast, our dinner attempt was also a bust. As we checked the menu, it rained, and both the outdoor and "indoor" dining areas leaked badly, so we went back to our room. Despite all these issues with the property and food, the service was genuinely great. All of the employees we encountered were nothing but kind and helpful. It's a shame the facilities didn't match their positive attitudes. Still, really disappointed overall.

Pleasant stay

Lovely hotel just a little walk out of town. Buses and taxes constantly going into the main part of town. Great pool area and nice clean rooms with air con.
