”The property is well located in the centre of the village.
Only complained we had was due to the outside noise (Power saw and back-up alarm from forklift) created by the construction in the harbor. A room on the other side of the hotel might have cushioned that noise somewhat.
The staff lady which we connected with in the Grocery/Liquor Store was extremely helpful and sourced a microwave and cutlery for us , since the restaurants where still closed for the season.
Would definitely stay there...

”Well supplied units, would highly recommend UNLESS you have accessibility issues, which I do, temporarily. I have stayed at this hotel a few times and enjoy it, but going through some medical treatment right now means I can't do stairs and I hadn't really noticed until now that the front of the hotel is all stairs and there is no elevator. The staff were kind enough to help me to my room on arrival, however no one was available to help me leave, so it was a challenge to say the least. If...

”I would Not recommend this hotel . I ride a Harley and the only parking available is across the street from the back of the hotel and the whole area felt very sketchy and uncomfortable. I checked in and paid and took one look at the small, smelly room and walked out. I went and found a different motel where I could park right outside my door. The hotel could not refund the cost of the room because I had booked through expedia. The hotel is probably clean enough but smells like a 300 year old...

”It was fully equipped to be self-contained, which is good because there's nothing else close-by for meals. The "chalets" were unique and fun to try for a couple nights. We booked it as a way to see the more rustic northern part of Vancouver Island. Staff was really nice.”
