”Beautiful and clean room. Great location. Enormously comfortable bed! I truly loved the space. There were just a few things that prevented me from giving a full 5-stars. The shower ran out of hot water. The passageway to the doors of each cabin are elevated like a boardwalk, which looks very quaint but is a bit problematic because you either have to walk around the long way to get to your vehicle, or step off of the boardwalk, which is about a 4-foot drop (for my cabin, anyway), making it a...

”We were lucky enough to get a room with a gorgeous view of the water. The room, although dated, was very spacious and clean. The staircase leading to the room reminded you of just how old the building is. The hallway carpet was filthy but the room was clean, We would stay there again as long as we were guaranteed a water view.”

”The rooms are directly above the restaurant. The staff are great. Our room overlooked the restaurant patio and Lunnenburg wharfs. There was chatter and activity until closing. There is no A/C but it cooled off quickly with the windows open. The bathroom fan did not work, nor did the lower receptacles on the bedside. We unplugged the bedside lamps to charge our phones.”

”The hotel is undergoing renovation, if this is the case then they should close down until it is fully renovated. The place is filthy and so is the room. It wasn’t vacuumed (saw an unsued battery under the bed), though they claimed it was recently cleaned. The room has a smell, bed linens looked worn out, pillows and carpet have many stains. The price they charged for a 2 day stay is not worth your money. I will not recommend this hotel unless you are desperate.”

”The cottage was exactly as pictured and a perfect size for the two of us. We thoroughly enjoyed this charming rental and appreciated the prompt communication with the owners. It was easily accessible to downtown shops when we decided to walk. Mahone Bay is a lovely town with several shops nestled next to the water. Highly recommend! A side trip to Peggy's Cove was a highlight!!”

”A beautifully curated hideaway. It is everything described and more: friendly hosts, minutes from shops and dining, yet, tucked away such that the only night sound is the chirping of frogs. We were quite delighted.”

”Fully equipped luxury dome with the softest bedsheets, large hot tub, Weber bbq, keurig coffee maker with pods, lounge chairs and Adirondack chairs, kayaks and the most peaceful surroundings.”

”This property would be excellent for older couples and handicapped people. There's a ramp leading to the cottage and grab bars inside. Very peaceful and such a wonderful couple who owns it.”
