”We stayed in the Troll's Den with our family of 4 and it was just perfect. Easy checkin and good amenities. The property manager communicated everything that we needed to know and got us wristbands for the amenities, including paddle boats and playground. It was less than a mile walk to the beach. Lake Michigan was cold because we were there in May, so it felt like we had the beach to ourselves. Overall a great trip. The kids keep asking when we can go back.”

”We had a great stay at the Funky Turtle. The house was clean and just enough space for my family of 5. The house is close to campground bathrooms if the occasional extra bathroom is needed. We enjoyed the fire pit, use of the grill, and sitting on the porch. Our only complaint is about the noise but it was clear from the map that the campground was located near an interstate. ”Was a comfy cozy spot to sit, relax, and just talk. The pull out couch was very comfortable. The most comfortable i have ever slept on. The fireplace was beautiful and functional. It gave off heat or just soft light. We drove to the outlet mall and 2 farmers markets. We had an amazing mother daughters weekend and will definitely come back again.”

”Fantastic location for visiting the Dunes and we loved our quick trips to downtown Valpo. Highly recommend eating at Lincoln Flats for dinner. We came here with our 2.5 year old and 5 month old and there was a lot of stuff to do. Just wish we could’ve stayed for a couple more days to fit more into our trip. ”We had a great stay! The neighborhood is very quiet. Just a few blocks from the beach, making it an easy walk. The house is cozy and charming. It had everything we needed & more. (beach chairs, umbrella, paddle board, marshmallow roasting forks, games, plenty of towels, a crockpot, etc) Checking in was a breeze and Robin was easy to contact with any questions. ”

”We saw the lovely and stunningly remodeled studio and had checked in for a Dunes visit (my son and I), but extenuating family issues unfortunately preempted our trip. After contacting the host, Justin, he was very understanding and empathetic. We definitely plan on staying again when our family health issues mitigate or fully resolve. Once again, great host and studio!! 5 stars!!”
