”If you love a rustic, quiet setting by the lake and not be annoyed by the lack of 'newness' or up-to-date appliances and amenities then this is the place for you. ”The hotel itself was fine, my major complaint would be that we were on the second floor and there was no elevator. However, at this time - mid-June 2026 - there is EXTENSIVE construction going on on the main road (Paul Bunyan Rd). The entire street is dug up, making accessing the hotel very difficult. ”Everything was great except one thing- a mat that was outside the side door was a safety hazard . It was made of very thick rubber and one end was curled up – I did not see that and tripped and fell really hard. I ended up in the ER – had to get an arm brace and meds. That was a week ago and it is still very painful. Going to my local doctor today.”

”Loved the location and the room was beautiful! So appreciated communication prior to arrival which made checking in and settling in very easy. The lake is approximately one block away and is absolutely gorgeous!”
