”Staff / conditions were excellent. I saw the general manager onsite so introduced myself and told him he was running a great team who looked after the guests extremely well. Clean, onsite dining, a short drive to the rangers station to catch a bus to the Lakes and walks. Tracks close to rooms. An overall excellent experience. Snowed, rained, sunny in one day - pack / wear appropriate clothing.”

”The owner was very friendly and helpful, as were all the staff. Would have liked a microwave in the cabin but it’s not a deal breaker. The gas log fire in the cabin was lit which made for a warm and cozy welcome when we checked in. The bed and bedding were nice, warm and comfortable. As it gets pretty cold there, electric blankets might be a nice touch, that way you don’t need to leave the gas heater on most of the night. All in all, we had a lovely time.”

”Love this property, very welcoming staff and well looked after room. Fabulous views and very peaceful and quiet. Definitely only worth a night stay as there isn’t much around and very limited food options. The restaurant was lovely and service was great! The breakfast hamper was perfect! ”
