”Hidden little treasure, The little apartment was ideal, the microbrewery was a local sensation, hung out there the following morning prior to our ferry departure. The host was very open to conversation and helpful. Would highly recommend. We will stay again if in the area!”

”This property was very clean, luxuriously comfortable (great beds), and located on a lovely waterfront. The kitchen, bathroom, and laundry room had everything we could need. We enjoyed breakfast on the deck watching shore birds and the boats. The hosts communicated well and made check in and check out easy. Would definitely stay here again if we got the chance to come back to Whidbey Island.”

”I was in town for a conference at the local resort. While I was bummed at first that the resort was booked, I think I got the better deal with this cabin in Birch Bay. Only 15 minutes from Semiahmoo, this cozy cabin was a perfect respite within a quiet, picturesque community. A stone's throw from the water, and away from vehicle noise. ”Stay was good! Parking situation needs to be addressed as we had to park on the street. The other tenants took up both parking spaces. Didn’t enjoy the giant spider that came to visit us in the bathroom. Overall as expected. The couch in the living room is pretty uncomfortable to sit on. ”

”The property was really nice. It was very clean and fit our needs perfectly. It had everything we could possibly need. The only issue we had, which was very small, is that we didn't know that it had a lower apartment, that was also rented out. I don't recall seeing this when reviewing the property details, initially. Apparently, our dog was a little noisy on the first night and there was a complaint called into the host. Once we knew they were there, we tried to limit any noise for the rest...

”We enjoyed an extended stay at Cowboy Cabin. It was great being out in a rural area, and we especially enjoyed watching hawks, swans, and other birds in the marsh across the street. The on-site staff were wonderfully friendly and helpful. Just know that this is an older building with dents and bruises, and the heating system could use a little attention. I'll bet kids would enjoy the cowboy decor and plenty of room to play in the large living room.”

”Owner is friendly and communicative, room is clean and minimal but does lack places to hang things up or organize your belongings. The bed is very firm and the pillows are pretty flat so I would recommend planning for that if it's something that would bother you, or, ask the owner if they have any other types of bedding (I just didn't want to bother them for such a short stay). Otherwise it's great if you're just trying to find a spot for the night.”

”Accommodations in this area are limited. So, we felt fortunate to have rented this cabin with it's many advantages and a reasonable rate. Tucked away at the end of a short road, the location is idyllic and quiet. Seated in the rocker on the back porch it's easy to convince yourself you're in an isolated mountain retreat, completely alone in nature. ”Lovely property with great access to the beach flats (staircase). Great responsive host. Disappointed the clothes washer wasn’t available but found a great drop off laundromat close by.Great neighborhood near to center of town. Amazing local shop mart with amazing conveniences two blocks away. Quiet and Beautiful area of B’ham. Definitely this property is top of my local list ! Our dog Lola had a blast !”
