”We were there when it was snowing and later in the weekend when it was sunshiny and warm. We lit a fire in the wood burning stove and walked outside and enjoyed the labyrinth. We heard the coyotes yip and watched the hawks fly over the bluff. We braked for turkeys and deer. We also made the short trek into Red Wing for serious shopping and spent time at Lena’s. In short we loved it all!”

”This is our "go-to" home when we visit family in the Baldwin area. Always clean, good lighting, spacious enough for suitcases & enough outlets for electronics, good complete breakfast, clean pool area. Back side of hotel looks out into rural woods -- no neighbors! Many of the desk personnel greet us like old friends after several visits, and are helpful & friendly. I want to commend a newer employee Cheyenne on the 2nd shift -- we needed a little extra bedding to secure a 3-year-old in one...

”The breakfast was nice, rooms were sufficient, staff were very helpful. Seemed a little short handed at breakfast when it was very busy. The small waterpark and pool area was well maintained and so much fun. ”

”We stayed a few days and did not have anyone offer to empty the trash etc so the room was very cluttered by the end of our stay. Lack of elevator and ice machine for the second floor are to be noted. Only aware or laundry facilities from overhearing another guest as upon check in we were not made aware of many offerings. ”

”Everything was great , except the pool and hot tub were broke. So that was a big disappointment. ”
