”The house near Løkken was really lovely. Everything was clean, the Wi-Fi worked well, and we loved the beautiful plates and cups, coffee machine and great terraces. The floor is not very practical and probably needs to be replaced, but the house has a very nice atmosphere. We really enjoyed the privacy and beautiful nature around us. The walking paths to the sea were wonderful, and Astrid’s tips were very helpful. It felt magical to be on these beautiful beaches and drive along the dunes and...

”A lovely vacation home with everything we needed. It was nice to have a large bookshelf for cozy evenings. However, we would have liked a bit more cleaning—especially vacuuming under the beds and the sofa— and the kitchen door is in a great spot; it’s perfect to keep it open while cooking so you can really take in the view and join the conversation on the patio at the same time.”

”The cottage was small but cozy. Perhaps a little dark inside. At this time of year, you need small lamps by the sofa so you can read or knit, for example. The kitchen had the bare essentials, but nothing more. A trip to the thrift store could quickly upgrade it. The area was lovely for walking the dog.”

Parhaat hotelliarvostelut kohteessa Luoteisrannikko

B&B by the Sea Hirtshals

B&B by the Sea Hirtshals

8/10 Hyvä
"We stayed one night at B&B by the Sea in Hirtshals during our trip and had a room at the top of the house. The reception was very nice, and overall there is really nothing major to complain about. However, the room was very warm, which can be good to know during the summer. The toilets were located in the corridor directly adjacent to the room and worked well, but the walls were perceived as quite responsive and you could hear noises from the room next door. There was also no fridge in the room, which would have been handy for us during the trip. Breakfast was good standard and served in an environment with very nice views, which gave a very nice start to the day. Parking is conveniently located opposite the hotel. For electric car travelers, it can be good to know that we did not see any charging facility in place. In summary, a nice, well-run and personal B&B with friendly service, good breakfast and nice surroundings. Some less practical details, like the warmth upstairs and responsiveness, but for a shorter overnight stay it worked well for us."
